Right now I am sitting on

sdrohc_ratiug's couch watching SpongeBob Squarepants (well, Lars and the Real Girl now), drinking tea, and mooching off her internet. We've been without since Friday night. Which is a pain when you need to e-mail things to your editor.

THANK GOD for my iPhone. Srsly. And friends with the internet. Though I will be at the library tomorrow.

Anyway, generally mediocre weekend. Friday I was in a really low mood, which made watching Ugly Betty more tear-filled than usual. Sometimes that happens. It'll hit 8 PM and I'll go from fine to...rock-bottom, wanting to cry in frustration because I don't know what's wrong. And then it'll be over by 11. I hate it. Luckily it doesn't happen that often, but it's really tough when it does more than one day in a row.

Speaking of Ugly Betty...I want a crossover with Justin and Kurt from Glee. Like...future!fic where Kurt goes to New York to be famous and fabulous and fashiontastic on Broadway.

Meanwhile, I got a new camera for my birthday. The light outside was really neat.

Monday my shiny new MP3 player arrived.

Now it's not working properly.

Thank god for warranties.

Today's going to be one of those days. I can feel it.

At least there's Project Runway to look forward to.

Seems like the internet is mostly working again.

But now I can't figure out how to get ringtones that I actually want on my new phone. Every time I try I'm hit with, "Invalid URL." I do love the phone though. It's slim and shiny and black and can take pictures. Woo.

Meanwhile, xkcd made me laugh. Oh, River.

And would Flanigan and Hewlett quit being, like, adorable and attractive? I'm becoming (even more) pathetically smitten with them. Ugh. Even if I love it.

My internet connection has become unreliable. Mostly it hasn't been working, and now that it is I can get into my e-mail and my LJ account but can't seem to type in another address and have the page load. This is a tad frustrating.

So, if I'm not really around for a bit, that is why. There's only so long you can watch the little "page loading" thing go around in a circle before you go crazy.

Something happened with my cell phone and now I can't get to the message in my voicemail and I am NOT A HAPPY PANDA.

Everytime I try to call, it says the number doesn't exist. What the hell?

This week has just been really not fun at all. First I was sick, than I was really in pain, and now my computer is frelling broken.

Can't I get a break?

Basically, the outer, plastic-y part of the computer has partially snapped where the screen hinges. Don't know how it happened, but it did. So now I'm going to just try not to shut the laptop because I don't want it to get worse. Which means I can't take it with me this weekend and play on it while house-sitting. And everything I was saving to watch this weekend will have to be watched tonight or tomorrow or next week. And not be available while I'm channel surfing and there's nothing on.

ARGH.

Little frustrated over here. So I'm looking at new computer options and Mom's looking at new computer options at home and hopefully we can figure out something soon-ish because I really want to have a computer that's not falling apart.

At least this is the start of my weekend and I can just relax tonight and not have to worry about getting anything done for tomorrow.

But I am *not* a happy panda.

I think my laptop crashed overnight.

Fuck.

Dad ran over his cell phone with a nine ton tractor. I am beyond amused. He was, obviously, not wearing it at the time. Apparently he got off the tractor and when he got back on it slipped off of his belt. When he was getting back off he saw a phone in the dirt and wondered how long it had been there. He picked it up and realized it was his. He says that everything on it worked except for the screen. Now he has a new one.

Hopefully it won't be run over by any farm equipment.
