My internet connection has become unreliable. Mostly it hasn't been working, and now that it is I can get into my e-mail and my LJ account but can't seem to type in another address and have the page load. This is a tad frustrating.

So, if I'm not really around for a bit, that is why. There's only so long you can watch the little "page loading" thing go around in a circle before you go crazy.

well, you can be comforted by the fact that it kind of forces you away from the computer!

That's always a plus. I was reading an article about how the irony of using the internet...

we learn and connect more with the world through the internet and yet we isolate ourselves at the same time.

I read/heard that somewhere recently! I think it was in Lynne Truss's Talk to the Hand, which is all about rudeness in the world today. Part of it was about how the internet has ruined us all for interacting with actual people and destroyed our ability to write. Or something.
