Disappointing
Jul. 16th, 2008 12:19 pmMonday my shiny new MP3 player arrived.
Now it's not working properly.
Thank god for warranties.
Today's going to be one of those days. I can feel it.
At least there's Project Runway to look forward to.

Date: 2008-07-17 04:24 am (UTC)I like the layout, but it feels a tad melancholy. I love the icon of the woman on the beach, but it always makes me a bit sad. And, as I sit here looking at details more, the fact that whole boxes get cloudier in color when hovered over sort of annoys me. If my mouse isn't hovering over the text, the gray is a little depressing.
But that's just me.
I lurve you!

Date: 2008-07-17 07:16 am (UTC)The woman on the beach has been my default for ages. About as long as I had my other layout. I'm kind of considering changing the default to the on of Sally. (That I'm using now.) I dunno.
I turned the opacity off. All of the boxes stay white now. I was borderline on it. As for the text, I don't find it depressing, I just worry about readability.

Also, I think the Khazad-dum link is broken. CoE is still live, but not so much KD.
Luff!

Date: 2008-07-17 05:25 pm (UTC)I've changed some of the text color a bit, which I think helps. I'm still a little concerned about the gray on white readability in the comment box, though. But I'm having trouble finding the bit in the code to help with that.
