Glee & NCIS

Kurt's dad is the best thing about Glee. Along with some of the performances. My mom and I are agreed on this.
We also discussed the appropriateness of "Poker Face" as the parting song between a mother/daughter duo.
"I know if I was going to sing a song with my mother, that's what I'd choose," she said.
"Oh, yeah. I can totally see you and Frannie belting that one out."
Instead she thinks maybe she'll just send her a copy.
But...back to Burt. Best thing about the show. I enjoy Glee, I do, but it is seriously uneven. There is a lot about it that makes me cringe - and not in a good "oh that's so bad" kind of way, like Nip/Tuck used to do before I finally gave that up (because it started making me cringe in really bad ways - that woman with her build-a-bear thing will HAUNT ME FOREVER) - but then they go and give us that scene with Kurt, Finn, and Burt and it is just...so good.
I stick around for that.
And Brittany. I know I shouldn't love her like I do, but oh. I can't help it. It's Heather Morris' delivery that slays me.
Before that, there was NCIS.
I was afraid that with all of the talk about Ziva becoming a citizen, she'd end up dead by the end of the episode. So I'm relieved she isn't and that everyone on the team is, at least physically, fine. (Except for McGee being a bit cut up.)
That being said, I burst into tears when Paloma entered Papa Gibbs' shop.
I want him to be okay, but I'm worried all my luck character-wise was used up getting through Supernatural.
Other than that, I'm...not entirely sure I understood everything that was going on in the episode. I think I will probably need to rewatch it.
