Wheeeee. Stuff.
Sep. 7th, 2004 09:10 amYesterday Kay, Greg, and the kiddos came over just because they bought a new car and wanted to try it out. Isn't that fun? It was nice seeing them again. Not that it's been terribly long since I've seen them. Tom and I took the kiddos almost all the way down to the neighbors to see the cows that are now living in our front field with the corn stubble. So that was fun.
Today I'm going to Wenatchee with Grandma. She's going to buy me a TV/VCR combo thingy for school. (Contributing to the whole-lotta-nothing I'm going to get done this year. As Kasey pointed out, even if I stick in PotC and not watch the Orlando parts, I'm still going to be sitting there lamenting the fact that Norrington doesn't get the respect and love he deserves. It's a situation.) Oooh, Angel Season 4 comes out today. I could get that, too, and have something shiny to watch.
Tonight there is an open house at the high school and I think I'm going to go with the parents to it. It'll be a chance to see what Tom will be up to this year as well as provide me with a chance to, at the very least, see some of my teachers that I won't specifically be visiting before I leave.
Also, everyone should read Orlando and the Land Orca. Because it shall be the best children's story EVAH. (Is it kind of odd that LJ says "orca" is misspelled?)
