"Half of this crap is written in some archaic proto-demon-cuneiform, and I don't want to be rude, but I think the other half they just doodled."
Oh, how much do I love my Angel? Loads and loads and loads. Massive hearts.
Season 4 kicks so much ass. I mean, there's a lot of it that sucks and is icky (i.e. Connor/Cordelia - What the *hell* were they thinking?) But it has also got some stuff that I majorly love. For example:
-- Angelus. The more I re-watch these Angelus episodes, the more he cracks me up.
-- Wesley. The hotness that is S4 Wesley. *dies* I do not deny that Wesley is my favorite character on this show. He just...tops them all in my eyes. Plus, there's the amazing little bit of character growth that he's gone through since he first appeared on Buffy.
-- Lilah. The hotness of Lilah. LOVE her. Period. Why the frell did Joss have to kill her? WHY? And bring in EVE? Bleh.
-- Faith. The hotness of Faith. I'm glad she came back. And the more I see of Faith the more I really appreciate the character and the sort of arc they've put her through. (I need to find some really good Wesley/Faith fic.)
-- Wesley/Lilah. The Supreme Hotness of pairings. Seriously. If I had to read one pairing in the Angel fandom for the rest of my life, this would be it. It's hot and it's angsty and it's dark and it's hard and it's HOT and it's all sorts of things. And they're pretty. Pretty apart. Pretty together. (Um, I also realize now that I totally wouldn't mind Wesley/Lilah/Faith. Pretty apart. Pretty together.)
So, yes. My love for S4 is apparently contained in those four things. Hey! Four things for Season Four. *is a dork* Although, I also love Lorne, Gunn, and Connor. Because I can.
Ahem. If I continue watching bits I'll probably geek-out some more. Don't mind me. Also, this makes me really pissed at the WB for canceling my freakin' show. Jerks.

Dude. Dude. Pearse on Ultraviolet is JAVERT! He sings on my 10th Anniversary Les Miserables CD. On the one we watched 50 bajillion times in Choir! Why did I not realize this before? D'oh. *hearts*

Date: 2004-09-09 09:51 pm (UTC)I actually wrote a bit of your story yesterday and have been debating about sending it to you. It's a little bit...different than the others I have written and I can't decide if I'm personally happy with it. But I can send it to you if you like, and then you can be the judge of its worthiness.
And I'd love to read this story involving his missing sister. :)
