As for fall quarter...

I am DONE!
English paper ended up longer than I was planning due to my failure to double check the length. Philosophy paper ended up a solid eleven pages with a decent bibliography. Astronomy test kind of iffy, but overall I think it's fine. Mostly all I care about is the fact that I didn't completely blow anything and now I'm done for roughly three and a half weeks. Time to focus on reading for pleasure and not fortorture class.
Greg's picking me up later this afternoon and Mom's supposed to come tomorrow (weather holding) and take me back over the Cascades. I'm mostly packed now, just a few smaller things I need to grab, plus my laptop. Need to make sure everything of mine is unplugged and off the windowsill. I've already vacuumed (next quarter we are *so* vacuuming more often) and now I just need to do some dusting.
But right now I'm just gonna sit here with my Pepsi and Hot Tamales (with more kick!) and not do anything, at the same time I won't feel guilty about not doing anything because there is nothing left to do! Yea!!

I spent yesterday watching a lot of TV. Really shouldn't have, but I did. SciFi was doing their daily mini-marathon thing with Andromeda, so I watched that for a couple of hours and then used it as background noise. Before yesterday I'd only ever seen a handful of random parts of it, enough so I knew who everyone was. And obviously enough to be having dreams with Harper making faces at me in coffee shops (I still don't know where that came from). Anyway, I enjoyed the two episodes I actually watched, even if I didn't entirely understand what was going on, and it made good background noise for writing.
Also watched America's Next Top Model. Disappointed in the winner. Still don't care for Tyra Banks. I find her...annoying. And everywhere. Caught the beginning of season two of Project Runway. Hiedi Klum is so much better than Tyra. So much. Should be an interesting season. It's cool that Daniel Franco has actually made it past the first official elimination. Really liked Santino until Chloe won the second challenge. Then he went backstage saying, "They didn't want to give me first place twice in a row." That's not cool, dude. Then there was the bald guy with the scary crying. Wow, man, get a grip. If that's your reaction to a simple question your *first time*, how're you gonna react later? Oh! The weirdest thing happened just as Hiedi was kicking someone off. Bravo just...switched to infomercials with no warning. I had to go online to see who was booted. Very annoying.
Then, of course, Veronica Mars. I totally called who was going to die. I'm kind of disappointed in that. Hopefully it will get less disappointing and more intriguing. Also, WALLACE. ::flail:: Didn't get teary when Keith told Veronica about Meg, but totally got teary when Veronica opened the door at the end and there was WALLACE who I wasn't expecting at all and yea, he's back!
That scene with Logan and the tapes was completely heartbreaking. Oh, Logan. Really liked the interaction with Keith and Logan at the police station and at the hotel suite. As much as he doesn't like Logan, I think Keith understands that he's lonely and messed up and just trying to keep it together when his world is falling apart. And maybe Keith doesn't *not* like him, maybe he just doesn't trust him because of everything that's come before. Anyway, there should be more scenes between Logan and Keith.
Also watched SGA's "Critical Mass." Don't have anything to say that everyone else everywhere hasn't already said. I liked it. Sure, it wasn't the best episode ever, but it was darn entertaining. And Sheppard and McKay are *SO* married. There's no denying it. (Meanwhile, I may have accidentally slipped into OTP territory with them.) Okay, so I didn't actually watch the *entire* episode, because I've been busy, but I watched the good stuff and it was nice to see Barrett and Lee even if I didn't really care what was going on at the SGC. Lee's got kids. Aw! There should be a Zelenka focused episode. And Rodney was totally Stewie from Family Guy with the pleasant taunting when Zelenka got back. Also, yea Cadman! (Who's hair drove me nuts, but I like anyway.) And the clicky-ness of McKay and Sheppard, who, besides literally clicking, also seemed to click back together. Liked the little scene of them walking together before they ran into Cadman (who I wouldn't mind seeing with McKay more). I would be happy watching Sheppard and McKay walk around little rarely seen bits of Atlantis all episode just interacting. That would be fine by me. Also really liked the bit about the dams and spillways. Hee! Rodney was, as usual, smart and hot and brilliant and hot. John was, like, scarily hot. I mean, whoa. Natasha wanted to see the parts with Zelenka and she caught a bit with John and her first reaction was pretty much a very articulate "woah."
There was also other stuff, like Novak, but whatever. I didn't really watch the bits with Kavanaugh, but I did see the "should we torture him?" scene. No comment, other than aw, Rodney. And then John, well, I often forget that he *is* Air Force and he has killed people. He killed those Genii with the iris last season. He does what needs to be done, and I think it's kind of easy to lose sight of that in all of his slouching, drawling, lazy dorkiness.
I know I tend to go on and on about McKay, but really I love Sheppard just as much.

Since Dad is going to be laid up at home for awhile, I think I'm going to make him watch the six hour Pride & Prejudice. Mwuahahahaha! He never should have told me how much he liked the new one. Which was actually pretty sweet. Near the end he asked me how much time was left because he had to use the bathroom and didn't want to miss anything. Aw. He missed a little bit of Darcy's "do you still hate my guts?" speech, but other than that, nothing. Definitely time to take advantage of the bed rest and bond over Jane Austen. :)
