....do do do....

So, yeah. Mom and I are going to Seattle tonight. Yea! This means air conditioning and slightly less warm, though more humid, weather. (It's actually not too bad here right now. A breeze has picked up and I can smell mint. I think that's from next door.) We're not leaving until later, so we'll miss all of the crappy traffic. Hopefully, at least. I'm not even packed yet. Bugger.

Yesterday I went to the Moses Lake Rodeo with the family (except Mom) and a friend-person. I've only been to a rodeo once before, also in Moses, and I guess I just forget each year that I actually enjoy sitting there watching the goings-on. It's actually quite entertaining. (As was the demolition derby the one year I went.) I didn't stay for the whole thing though, as the whole reason I actually went was to meet up with Neesha at the Grant County Fair. So we met up and wandered around the outskirts of the fair and ate ice cream and got tattoos. (Mine's in kind of a strange spot, at least for me. I'm going to take a picture so I can remember my, sigh, wild days when I'm old. Hah.) Even though they frelled up the dance. Anyway, we left after I got my tattoo because we had to pin my shirt funny and it just looked...odd. There was a band playing bad 80s music there as well, but they did play "Time Warp" from The Rocky Horror Picture Show so that was great. So we left and found Vandyman's (heh, thanks Neesh) house and drove around and finally went for a midnight breakfast at Sharis. Fun. All in all, it was a spiffy night.

Ah frell. I just remembered the movies/characters that we cross-overed/whatever its called last night. Neesha, did you follow up on any of that?

Apparently all of my Horatio Hornblower stuff has been shipped and is now on its way to Spokane. Woo!

Tattoo... as in.. REAL?

My mom flipped at me when I tried showing her my crappy little henna one I got on Sunday with Kit... She was about ready to kill me. I tried to explain that it was temporary, but she basically ordered me out of the room and to not talk to her for the rest of the night... without saying ANY words at all.. Moms are scary

Nah, as [livejournal.com profile] ginnith said, it's only henna. Although there have been times I've been close to getting a real one. I stay away because I'm too indecisive. My mom's reaction to mine the next morning was "So? Where is it?" But yes, moms *are* scary. Parents are even scarier.

See, now I would *never* actually write on myself. I just can't bring myself to do it. I completely know what you mean about marking up the body, but the whole thing with tattoos for me, be they henna or fake, is that it allows me to experiment with a different form of accessorizing without actually effecting my body. In some ways it's even almost a dress-up thing for me, like Halloween.

And I'll probably never get a real one. Too permanent.

I'm still having a little bit of trouble with the story, but I have actually started it!

Miss you!!!! I wanna show you my new brunette hair!!

The fair was fun...breakfast was wonderful, thanks for the treat!!!

I haven't written anything out, but we should!! Umm...Will was Miss Piggy, Bunsen and Beaker were the pirate dudes. Kermie was Norrington. Gonzo was Jack (or did we change that to fozzie)...We'll have to figure this out again. :) *MUA*

I wanna see your new brunette hair!

Aye, you're welcome! :D

I can't rightly remember who ended up as Jack. I think it might have been Fozzie and Gonzo ended up as Barbossa due to the nose similarities. Or something. We're going to have to sit down and really figure this out again, with pen and paper handy.

Yes!! We will...I want to. We are sad.

But really it's SO much fun!

*points at icon* Imagine Kermie.

Er. On second thought, I'm going to imagine Jack.

For some reason the "And Malcolm McDowell" on the first pic just completely cracks me up. I dunno. Maybe it's because he'd definitely not Malcolm McDowell.

Anyway, when I mentioned Mr. Dancy the other night I did actually have something to say. I think. A year or two ago I saw him in a Masterpiece Theater thing on PBS and said, "If he's ever in a big movie, he's going to have hordes of fan(girls)." And voila!

Yeah... damn the Dancy man... he's not too shabby looking in some photos, but in others, he's just hideous.... and the icons those girls had! OMG! They need to be X rated.. At least I use cutesy wootsey G rated icons (except for my nekkid Viggo one hehe!)

Y'know, you're right. In some pics he's pretty adorable or attractive or whatever, but in others he is pretty hideous. And the icons! Yowza.

Of course, you have no room to talk whatwith your nekkid Viggo. ;)
