Friday Stuff

Got a call a little before 5:20 this morning asking if I could sub today. Ended up with a half-day with fourth graders.

I heard, "You're really tall" a lot. Yup, kids, I am. You're not the only ones to notice, either.

I also got several comments/questions about my Tiffany bean necklace.

Meanwhile, I was really happy with my hair today.



I've got a haircut scheduled June 6 and other than shorten the back (because omg it's driving me crazy and I will never survive the heat), I'm not sure what I want to do. Keep the bangs? Grow them out? Get them trimmed? ::shrug:: I also want to dye my hair again, but I don't know if I want to go red or darker brown. Opinions?

Coconut italian sodas are the best summer drinks ever. Yum.

Mom and I are watching season four of Supernatural out of order. I may be on my way to developing an unhealthy interest in Castiel.

Cute-tastic hair! I like the bangs, personally, it gives your hair a nice shape and frames your face :D

Also, I just got some all-natural henna-based hair dye in 'dark brown' and 'mahogany'(which has a reddish quality.) If you wanna look 'em over/try one. It's supposed to be a lot nicer to your hair and be all pretty-like.

Omg I want a coconut Italian soda. Will have to do that tomorrow.
Also, what are you up to this weekend? Wanna hang? ;)

Thanks! Somehow the layers and bangs just really came together today. Not that they don't usually. But they stayed in something like the way I half-heartedly put them this morning.

I may have to look over those dyes.

Weekend belongs to hellish board meeting at the moment. Maybe Sunday afternoon, though?

I've got a Tiffany bean necklace too - my husband gave it to me for my 30th birthday. I've never seen anyone else wearing one - you and I obviously have excellent taste! =D

What a small world! :) Other than a woman in one of my American Literature classes, I've never seen the necklace elsewhere either. I got mine from long time family friends when I graduated from high school. It was kind of a tradition for them, since it's supposed to represent beginnings and origins. I wear mine practically all the time and get some of the most interesting comments.

Thanks! Yeah, I'm going to keep the bangs. I used to have them a little longer, but that started to drive me crazy so I think trimming them this time is the best bet.

Ooh, I haven't done highlights in a long time. There's an idea! Definitely leaning toward dark brown. I got close to black there for a while. Which, strangely, made me feel kinda cool.
