annundrielMom got me the first season of Angel on DVD for Valentine's Day! I love that show. And I miss the way the characters used to be. Cordelia was so much more fun when she was a bitch. Now she's all . . . Hallmark-y. I miss the old Wesley. He was just such a lovable dope. Although I do like the new him too. With his edginess. And underneath the stubble he's still a big lovable dope. Now watching these old episodes it starts to make me wonder what sort of crack the writers are on this season. And last season. Angel and Cordelia were like brother and sister! They shouldn't be allowed any other kind of relationship because, well, EW. But now, since the last episode, I'm wondering if Cordy's not really the real Cordy and something must be going on and there's got to be something big happening. (Well, duh.)
Anyway, got Dad totally hooked on the show as well. Go me! He's only ever come into it this season and so when Mom and I watched the first few he joined in and he likes it! In fact, Sunday night I came home (like 11 pm) and they were watching it without me! I'm so happy.
