Dorm Life & Midterms
Oct. 27th, 2005 10:50 pmToday was a pretty decent day. :) Got Astronomy test back (B) with midterm grades thus far (A-). Took Philosophy midterm (first one finished) and I think that went okay. The bad thing about taking a class from a professor you like and respect is that you want to do well and not have them think you're stupid. But sometimes you have off days. English was, for whatever reason, marginally less boring. The sudden synchronized underlining with Julia was pretty funny.
Yesterday I found out that apparently I'm "indispensable" at the library. Not sure how serious she was, but it's a nice thing to hear when I'm always worried that I won't be able to come in one too many times and they'll fire me or something. But apparently I'm the only one that comes in and actually gets things done. My boss knows that she can leave me a project and I'll get it done and done right. So that made me feel pretty good about things.
Speaking of libraries, had another dream last night in which I was working at the library. What's with this recurring library theme?
Bellarmine 7 has turned into the "special" floor. Tonight was the hallway Halloween decorating challenge for all of the floors. Prize is, so I hear, free pizza. So exciting. (So not serious.) *Someone* decided a fog machine would be cool and creepy. *Someone* forgot that fog is very much like smoke and indoors the smoke detector/fire alarm isn't going to recognize the difference. So the seventh floor was evacuated because we live with a bunch of idiots. ::facepalm::
Why me? Why us? This must be payback for something I did in high school.
Gonna go watch Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants now and hope nothing exciting happens for the rest of the night.

Date: 2005-10-28 07:59 pm (UTC)Do we still want to take an Ethics class together? I'm looking at Ethics 345-03, TTh 1:30-3:35. Does that work for you?
Just planting the idea in your head :)

Date: 2005-10-28 08:25 pm (UTC)WFUL = I'm not sure what it means, but that's what a lot of classes said when we were trying to register last quarter and I'm pretty sure those go away when it comes to actually registering. I asked my advisor last quarter and he didn't even know what it means. *shrug* But yes, Ethics. I'll put that on my list for things to definitely do.
