"That was the premier?"

So I thought the season premier of Lost was sort of lackluster

This could be because I still haven't seen *all* of season one, though I have seen the finale a couple of times, or because I wasn't really in the mood for Lost. I think it was mostly the latter. Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, the amount of Jack may have been what made it "meh" for me. I mean, I like Jack, but I wanted to know about everyone else. The only part that really sticks in my head right now is the bit with Shannon in the jungle looking for Vincent and suddenly seeing Walt dripping wet. What was that about? And what did he say? Was it even English? (I couldn't tell.) And what about the people on the raft?

Anyway. I wasn't that excited for it to begin, anyway. I mean, I had been, but tonight it just wasn't there. And, well, meh.

Natasha was so unimpressed she exclaimed, "That was the premier?" when I mentioned it afterward.

But I do want to know what's going on and I do want to see where they're going with it. Should be interesting.

The only real Oooooh wow! was the very ending part where whats his face shows up. That had nothing to do with the rest of last season, so it's okay. But yeah, it was kinda down...

Now, who exactly was the dude that showed up? Was it the guy that Jack was talking to in the stadium? I missed a bit at one point.

Yeah, that guy was Desmond from earlier. It was funny. All throughout Desmond and Jack's conversation at the ball park or whatever, we kept thinking he was gonna hit on Jack so we kept saying in a delight little British-Australian accent, "'Ya like men? 'Cause I do!" over and over. It was deliciously brilliant!
