The weather here in Seattle has been gorgeous. If I were at home, I would go out and lounge in the yard with a book.
Called my grandma yesterday to find out how Dad's surgery went and then talked to Dad himself. Everything went fine. He was scheduled for surgery at 8:00 AM and was home by 2:00 PM. Apparently his gall bladder was completely non-functioning, so it's a good thing he got this down sooner rather than later.
SG-1 is on SciFi right now and they're doing season three's "Forever In a Day." (I have trouble handling teary Teal'c. It's just so sad. :( )Why hasn't Daniel gone completely insane from how many time's he's had a ribbon device turned on him? I mean really. It's a wonder he's not a jibbering idiot. Poor Daniel, dying all the time.
I loved the commercial SciFi had for their Monday nights of SG-1. "It's the 'Look, they're dead.' 'No they're not.' 'Yes they are.' 'No they're not.' night." It made me giggle every time. Nine seasons and there are a lot of close calls.
