Look, an Inception post with nothing of any particular import!

Going to see Inception for the third time today. Dragging sdrohc_ratiug along with me. If she hates it, I WILL CRY.

I now have two Arthur/Eames fics started. Um. Um. They are TWO HOT GUYS IN SUITS two fascinating characters, can you blame me? Here is the only picture I have uploaded of the two of them. Behind the scenes. Doesn't matter. I still want to smush them together in various ways. Hard. Even more so when Arthur's got the three-piece suit going on.

God, I have it bad.

It's embarrassing my urge to call everyone "darling." Same thing happens when I watch The Incredibles, though, so maybe it's not too bad. ;) (I also slip into some accents if I watch too much of something. Power of suggestion, my mind is open to it.)

Meanwhile, I keep listening to the final track of the movie's score. You know how sometimes a theme will just get in your head - haha ideas are parasites - and not let you go? That's essentially what has happened here. It kills me, so good, every time.

Okay, so Joseph Gordon-Levitt never used to seem cute to me. But after Inception? Something about the scene where he's trying to produce the "kick" and just floating around. And he's in that suit vest combo. Mmmm. I didn't pay much attention to the other guy though....

I'd be curious to discuss Inception with you. There are so many theories floating around and I know you'd have some intelligent insight into what the WHOLE THING MEANS.

Sidenote: a couple of episodes of Supernatural were on this morning and out of curiousity I watched part of one and recorded the other. I'm disappointed it isn't On Demand so that I can watch MORE.

I always thought Joseph Gordon-Levitt was cute, but this movie...goddamn. He pulls my attention most of the time he's on-screen. They basically took someone I already thought was attractive and gave him a style I find attractive and I am basically dead over it. As for the other guy...

Tom Hardy, the actor, gets me more and more everytime I see the film. I also think this is a great opportunity to point out what attracts me to fanfiction and slash, since we've talked about that before and look! Here is something we've both seen! At first I noticed Eames more whenever he interacted with Arthur, JGL's character. There's a snap to their interaction, a friendly antagonism, that I really like. A chemistry. And with fanfiction, I can explore the various ways that snap, that antagonism and chemistry, might manifest. There's a seed of something there that I want to play with.

Anyway. That's kind of random. But that's the same way I feel about, say, Dean and Castiel on Supernatural. I totally flailed, by the way, when I read that you watched part of one. I'm really curious about which ones you happened to catch. Obviously I am very fond of that show. (Haha, understatement.)

BUT, Inception. I have seen it three times now and will happily discuss it with you! Though I will say that I've decided that whatever theory any one person my prescribe to - and I haven't exactly settled on one yet - I love every frame, every minute of the film, that I don't really care what the "right answer" might be anymore. The destination has sort of ceased to matter, I love the journey so much.
