They is Crazy Nutso I'm Telling You
May. 28th, 2004 05:21 pmOMG, now that is funny. I just read that Marton Csokas was in an episode of Farscape. Celeborn isn't an elf, he's an alien in disguise!!
And OMG again. Barry Otto (Doug Hastings) from Strictly Ballroom is in a Season 4 episode. This is just too great.
Anyhoo. Yes, I realize I'm repetitive. I can't help it.
Registration went off without a hitch today. Mine and Olive's. I had to register for her since she works weekends and doesn't have internet access. I got all of the classes I wanted, so I'm very happy. I'll be taking Spanish 115, Philosophy 220, and English 254. I'm really excited about all of them, but mostly about Phil. and Eng. The particular Philosophy professor was recommended to me by Julia. It's Philosophy of the Human person, like all PHIL-220, but it's also Women's Studies. It was closed by the time I registered, but I went to the department and asked to be put in and I was! Last one, too. Hee! And I'll be back to taking English classes which makes me happy since I am an English major. So I'm taking Survey of American Literature. Not my favorite literature ever, but it will be good for me to read more American stuff. And it's recquired.
At any rate, I'm pretty happy right now.

Date: 2004-05-29 01:29 am (UTC)I just got back from seeing The Day After Tomorrow. I'd recommend it if you'd like a good laugh. It was pretty funny and some of the graphics were neat.

Date: 2004-05-31 07:55 am (UTC)I enjoyed it. But I'm pretty easy (shh, don't tell anyone) when it comes to movies. And Ian Holm was in it and he sadly froze to death with some random British people, bless his little Hobbit heart. And completely computer generated timber wolves tried to eat random nerds and it was fun. (But how'd those wolves get out and then to high ground in the first place? Sneaky monkeys. Er, wolves.) My favorite graphic was how the snow on the CG Statue of Liberty actually sparkled like real snow. It's the details, man, the details.
Disclaimer: I'm a little sleep deprived right now, don't mind me.
do not come between the nazgul and his prey

Date: 2004-06-02 01:47 am (UTC)Kit's doing a paper on Eowyn? That's cool. What for?
My mom bought RotK and brought it over when she came for the weekend. But I couldn't generate the interest needed to watch it. What is wrong with me??
