Not speculative or spoilery about upcoming events (because I am UNSPOILED GO ME), but going under a cut anyway.
Dean didn't know that Castiel turned Anna in.
Does Dean know about Castiel letting Sam out of Bobby's panic room yet? I'm curious and can't remember. And too lazy to go looking on the SPN wiki.

But since he still trusted Castiel more than Anna in last night's episode, even though Anna told him Castiel turned her in, I'm hoping he wouldn't completely lose his head. Both actions occured after Castiel had been yanked back to Heaven and before he'd allied himself with Dean, after all.

Castiel just worries me in general, whether that means evil or death or whatever. I want the writers to do right by him.
You're right, they've gotta know it was angels that released Sam.
