Spenser and other dead English guys
Feb. 24th, 2004 12:26 amI'm reading more of The Faerie Queene for English Wednesday and I have to say that although I am impressed at Spenser's talent, I am less than thrilled with reading it. For some reason I'm having some major issues about getting through it. I do get to read John Donne for Wednesday day, too though. And from what I've read elsewhere and previously, I rather like him. And we read Sir Philip Sidney a couple of weeks ago and I really liked him form some reason.
Go dead English poets! Woo!
It was Jana's birthday on the 23rd. Hannah saved me cake from the party since I was at work. Yummy.
Don't know if she'll see/read this, but Hi Olive! ;)
I spent the weekend alone at my aunt and uncle's house. They left me their Honda and I drove to the bank and Third Place Books to do some shopping. Alone. Go me. Seattle traffic there is not so bad. But you're not gonna see me driving downtown anytime soon. No sirree.
