One of the problems with writing fanfiction is realizing that, while you have a good beginning, it doesn't necessarily fit the timeline.

::facepalm::

Which means rewriting and trying to keep the things you really liked while making it fit within the canon of the show.

Oh well, I think I can still make it work.
