Thursday is my first assignment as a substitute teacher.

At the elementary school.

I'm kind of freaking out here. A lot.

Why did I let myself get talked into this?

Mom told me to just think of them as Tris and Callie's, too. Only I'd do/say things with the kiddos that I'm sure would not be entirely correct for general kids. So, Tris and Callie, but less familiar.

It's Mr. Whitaker's, and I'm actually kind of confused. With the automated system, it says Red Rock, but his part of the recording says Language Arts and high school. Online it says Red Rock and Physical Education. So, English? PE? Who knows! I'm supposed to check in at the main office, so I'll go to Red Rock first and see.

I'm guessing that means Brent Whitaker, who I believe is 9th grade English in Miss Boss's old classroom. And he might do PE, though I think he's a coach more than a PE teacher. That being said, I have absolutely no idea if I'm right. Tom would know more. And, OMG, you could have lunch in the teachers' lounge with all of our old teachers. That could almost be worth it.

I know who he is, though he was never one of my teachers. The confusion comes from the part of the recording and online that says Red Rock and the part where he identifies himself as high school.

Sadly, no lunch in the teacher's lounge. The assignment is listed as 11:31 AM to 3:00 PM, so that's just after lunch I think.
