Almost All of My Shows are Back
Sep. 25th, 2008 10:40 pmLast night's NCIS mainly consisted of me flapping my hands and then giggling whenever people I loved were on screen. So, basically the whole episode.
And now Agent Lee is bad! Mostly I just feel for Jimmy. :( I'm glad that he realized on some level that he was being used, but he's just so cute when he's having a good time that I don't want him feeling bad.
But I was glad to get some reason behind breaking the team up. Now if only they'd just get Tony back...Loved Abby's little sticky-note counter with the pictures.
Also, it was weird to watch Without a Trace having just seen Anthony LaPaglia's brother get killed an hour before.
Ugly Betty is back! I'm really looking forward to this season. The whole Henry thing I found kind of dull and annoying. I mean, there were moments last season that had me going "aw" and being able to accept them as an...adult couple. But mostly I was over it.
Betty went on a trip by herself! Good for her. Marc and Amanda missed her! Aw.
I liked that Mrs. Mead's desk was a little island of color in Wilhelmina's monochromatic sea.
Yeah. I've got nothing interesting to say. Just yea!
Also, I want more Cliff this season.
And The Office, too! I have mixed feelings here.
On the one hand there was everything that made me happy: Pam getting to go to her classes; Pam and Jim on the computer; Jim kicking the crew out of Pam's room; Mindy Kaling for being freaking awesome as Kelly; Michael (and the rest of the office) making Kelly feel good about herself; Ryan apologizing to Kelly; PROPOSAL! IN THE RAIN! AT A GAS STATION! I knew Jim was going to do it! And THE KISS. THAT WAS A GOOD KISS.
Added to that was all of the hilarious stuff. And there was a lot.
But on the other hand, I'm not happy about the way the Andy/Angela/Dwight thing is going down. I feel really bad for Andy. And Dwight came off really skeazy to me in this episode. Poor Andy. :(
Michael was great most of the episode and then he tore up those tickets! I think Mom and I were both like, "IDIOT!"
And then they went to TOBY. That left me feeling really down. Barely there, no beaches, and his only visitors are the film crew. :(
I was happy to see that even though I haven't exactly been super hyped for these shows, all of the squee came back while watching. See, the problem with shows returning this week is that they're beginning when all I want to do is watch Due South. It has taken over my brain in the best way possible.
Plus, it's like playing Spot the Vaguely Familiar Canadian Actor. A couple of episodes ago Apophis was driving a cab.

FRASER: When I was a young scout, anxious to earn my ecology badge, I insinuated myself into a hunting party to catch a baby seal killer.
RAY: What happened?
FRASER: Well, I was clubbed repeatedly, Ray.
