Dad and I have been home since around 11:30 Friday night. We didn't think we'd get home until Saturday, but by Friday afternoon we both kind of looked at the Oregon map and said, "Let's just get home."

It's so nice to be back in my own bed and have my own shower to use. Plus, no more living out of a suitcase.

There may be more pictures later. I can't remember if there was anything interesting or pretty that I actually pulled my camera out for on Friday.

Now I'm just unpacking things and doing laundry and catching up on SGA and Dexter. Think I'll save Torchwood for tomorrow.

I was actually going to watch SGA yesterday, but I slept in and then got sucked into the NCIS marathon on USA. I'd never watched the show before, but I figured, hey, I'd give it a chance. And, well, looks like I'm going to get sucked into most of the procedural crime shows now that I have free time. Oh well. I guess I needed something new now that I'm almost caught up with CSI.

Plus, heh, this is me we're talking about here and they make it so easy for me to find the slash. Oh, subtext.

Some of my favorite slash is Gibbs/DiNozzo oriented. It's always pretty hot. I've loved NCIS since the JAG crossover episode which happened right after I fell in love with Mark Harmon on The West Wing. It's probably one of my favorites and the people are always pretty attractive and completely adorable. And snarky. I love Abby and Ducky. Well, I love them all really.

Glad we have a new fan! (And that you're home and well and all that.)

I haven't done the Gibbs/DiNozzo thing so far. Basically it's been DiNozzo/McGee. I went in thinking, "Now who is it that I see slashed?" and remembered Gibbs/DiNozzo, but then other things happened and I flailed and went "omg!" and, yeah, have since been reading DiNozzo/McGee.

I love them all so far, though. Except that Ziva reminds me strongly of Sofia on CSI. To the point that I even think she sounds like her. It's weird.

Plus, Mark Harmon and John Barrowman could be related.
