Oct. 1st, 2007 11:37 pmSo Friday night instead of dreaming of SGA or vampires or something that was, y'know, vaguely on my mind, I dreamt that Emma Thompson had her own talk show and was interviewing...herself. As in there were two of her. It wasn't until I was relating this to Mom that I realized they were both her and that was strange. ET had written a book on Jane Austen and they were discussing it. With some interruptions of random questions from audience members who didn't want to ask things relevant to the book and appeared to be homeless. Then they got into a discussion as to why Henry Kissinger hated Austen and what he would think of Harry Potter.
I can only guess that the very brief discussion of "Should we see Becoming Jane again?" brought on the JA bit of the dream. But the rest of it? And all of it together? Weird.
Also, I'm really enjoying Chuck so far. Complete fluff, but entertaining and likable. Journeyman I had doubts about only because it comes after two other hours of straight TV watching and I can get kind of antsy. But I'm intrigued and have so far liked both episodes.
Heroes - "Lizards"
I love it still. Especially Hiro. OMG. So much. And I am so looking forward to finding out more about Kensei.
I was afraid that when Claire cut off her toe the dog was going to eat it. I'm glad that didn't happen. Or that we didn't see it at least.
Mom was curious about Peter showing up without a shirt. "Not that I'm complaining," she added.
When Mohinder tucked Molly in with Matt asleep in a chair nearby I couldn't help thinking, "Aww, Molly's other daddy's finally home. No more waiting up for his return."
Oh, and that thing with Mrs. Petrelli was freaky.
Monday's a good night for television.
And now Damian Lewis, an actor I've loved since Band of Brothers, is on my TV every Wednesday. Good times.
