Who gets a cookie? Oh, yes, that would be me. :)

They were hard classes. Especially Masculinity and Irish Lit, what with the insane amounts of reading.

I'm already working on my readings for next quarter. Two of my professors sent out e-mails gently suggesting we get started. I'm currently making my way through an annoyingly marked up copy of Madame de Stael's Corinne, or Italy for 19th Cent. European Novel and have an essay on John Donne to read for Donne and His Critics.

Already they're keeping me busy.

So, I'll be working on Fri, Sat, Sun of next week, so I'm thinking I'll be altering my plans slightly. Which days would work better for me to come and attack visit you? I'm looking at Mon night-Thurs afternoon in the greater Seattle area.

Well, I usually work Mon-Wed, but I can probably e-mail my boss saying that I can't work that Wed (the 28th, right?). That wouldn't be a big deal.

Nope, not going to grad school. I was seriously thinking about it, but then I decided I didn't need the stress of applying on top of everything else. And that I needed a break. And that I needed to find out if what I'd like to do is what I really want to do before spending more insane amounts of money. And I already know that there's a good possibility that I can probably do what I'd like to do without grad school.

HOLY COW! You pulled 3 A's in all LITERATURE classes. You are my hero. Especially during senior year. I would have given up after week 3.

Thank you! I hadn't realized just how happy I should be about it until you reminded me that, yes, they were all literature classes. I...don't know how I pulled it off, actually.

I've found that ignoring these markings isn't so bad. The few written comments are so sloppy it's almost too much work to try to make them out. I may end up buying another used copy, though, if it gets worse as the book goes on.
