Couldn't Sleep & Wouldn't Sleep

So what if I'm avoiding Waiting for Godot? It'll get done. What with the quiz in the morning and all.
I can't say that I'm disappointed in the show, because I'm perfectly happy to watch it and enjoy (basically) every week. However, I don't think they're handling things quite as well as they could.
Like Lamb. I'm not what you would call a Lamb "fan," but I didn't dislike him. He added tension. And I understand the idea that randomly killing of familiar characters cements shows/books in "reality" because bad things happen every day. (Believe me, I understand it. Like I completely understood the need for Serenity to end the way it did.) But there was just something about Lamb's death that didn't feel, I don't know, right to me. And by "right" I mean that there was something off in the acting or the directing or the writing. Or all three. I don't know, it just didn't feel like they handled it well.
Maybe it was just because I wasn't paying complete attention at the time.
Other than that, though, I thought Logan and Parker were really cute together. I'm tired of mopey Logan. It's nice to see him having a nice time. And Parker needs good things to happen to her.
How will Sheriff Mars handle his law-breaking daughter? That's what I want to know.
