Makes Me Stop Before I Begin

Today I woke up with The Fray's "How to Save a Life" stuck in my head. When I turned on the TV they were playing the video for it. It was a little strange.

No Atlantis DVDs until 2007. If they really are delaying it, they better have a darn good reason.

What was the point of this week's Project Runway? I think we all had the feeling already that all four of the contestants would be going to Fashion Week. I guess they were just keeping up the pretense of formula. Or something.

I'm sorry to say that overall I wasn't too impressed, which isn't to say that I didn't like the designs. I liked all of them mostly, but they weren't new or surprising or that different from anything else the four have done all season. Loved Uli's dress though. I'm glad she won.

Oh, I guess I should say that Jeffrey snuck up on me this week and I found myself disliking him less. I can't now remember what he did, but it made me go "aw" and re-evaluate him a little.

So I guess we'll see what happens in a couple of weeks. I'm really looking forward to the reunion show. The shit's gonna fly! They should get them all liquored up like they did on Top Chef.

Now I think I'll go listen to Tim's podcast.

... i thought they were going to dismiss two of the four and keep things ULTRA EXCITING, but nope. I think Laura should go though... by the time it's time for FASHION WEEK she should be full term, right?

Oh, dismissing two people. Now that's a twist that would have surprised me. Keeping all four? A little HOKEY. I mean, I think the fourth person gets a runway show anyway, to throw the media off. So wtf, people? How is this any different from other seasons? Besides the fact that you're being upfront about being sneaky.

Can the stress of Fashion Week be good for a fetus? I don't think so. Years from now that kid is gonna go nuts and it will all be HEIDI KLUM'S FAULT.

I find Jeffery to be incredibly annoying- I have to say I still dislike him the same.

Anyway I just paid for livejournal, mostly so I could have more userpics. I really need to do homework, not even two weeks in and I'm tired of it already. oh well.

How do you get those mood pictures? I don't know how to do it.

Jeffrey is annoying. And he will never get more than mild interest from me since he was such a jerk earlier in the season (and continues to be one to a certain extent). Who knows what I'll say after the reunion show. I reserve my right to change my mind.

Livejournal is very addicting. And userpics are the best part.

The mood pics, like the ones I use, are custom made by other people on LJ. For example, here (http://goldie-gal.livejournal.com/41052.html) is where I d/led my current Stargate Atlantis mood theme. (I've also got another Firefly one and a Jack Sparrow one saved.) What you do is d/l the theme and then you have to upload all of the pics to a hosting site (like Photobucket, which I use and is free) and then there's code to do. It sounds complicated, but it's really pretty easy. If you want, I can help.
