How funny was it seeing Tim walk over the grass surrounded by thirteen dogs? Hee!

I was glad to see Uli win this challenge. I really liked the outfit she designed and how she really thought about the dog as part of it. As compared with Keith who decided that designing for a dog was beneath him. (I hope the judges did see that he was lying his skinny ass off about not being happy with four different designs.)

I also really liked Alison, and from the judges' talk (about her getting the complete picture with the story and the hair and the design) I thought she was going to win. She still really reminds me of a vintage Barbie Doll. Or a French model from the 50s/60s. Or Bjork (but just a very little). There's just something about her face.

Catherine is out! I was a little shocked. I liked the garment in its simplicity. Unfortunately, when it comes to execution or design, it's usually the poor execution that gets people kicked off. Angela...well, her outfit was a little nuts. And definitely not appropriate clothing for someone dealing with such a young age group.

Keith is getting on my nerves. I grudgingly liked him at first, but now his attitude has really just put me off. (And I got to thinking just now (and [livejournal.com profile] olivelavonne will be the only one that gets this) about how I would react to McKay on a reality show like this. Would I hate him? Or would his confidence/arrogance pull me in? ) I'm hoping next week goes down like I think it's going to. And boy did Tim look pissed in the previews.

Bradley was a big surprise. I was a little "hmm" about his outfit until his model walked down the runway, and then I liked how it matched the dog. But it was jaw-dropping surprising when the judges adored it. I was so pleased for him! But I couldn't help asking Mom, "They're pulling his leg, aren't they?" because it just seemed so strange. Anyway. I hope they all went and had a good time for his birthday.

Let's see...I guess I don't really have anything else to say about the episode. Mostly my opinions, good and bad, were supported by what was shown. I still like the people that I liked last week and I'm still put off by the people I was put off by last week. Am liking Jeffery more and more. Really liked Michael's design. The only outfit I was seriously unimpressed by was Vincent's.

I will say that I'd like to see more of some of the other designers, like Bonnie and Michael. They don't get a lot of camera time.

And, of course, Tim's Take is always worth a read. Because, yes, exactly. What he said.

I really loved Michael's design. I thought it was beautiful. I think all the designer's did a pretty good job with an exception of Vincent and Bradley. Vincent's wasn't really memorable. I didn't like Bradley's dress at all. But that was more of a stylistic thing. And I think Tim was right, in his Podcast thing, that Bradley's is rather reminiscent of Daniel V's inspiration challenge. But while I liked Daniel's, I didn't like Bradley's. But I'm really glad he stayed. I wanted to punch Keith. That's all I'll say about him. I'm glad Heidi called him out.

Vincent's looked like something anyone could have put together. There was a girl in a couple of my classes who regularly wore stuff like that.

I didn't particularly care for Daniel's or Bradley's designs, honestly. There was something too floppy about Daniel's last season. I still think Andrea should have won that challenge because he took something not so pretty and made it into something stunning, IMO. I should go listen to the podcast.

Oh, Keith. You're a liar. You're a liar who thinks he's entitled to everything. They should have kicked him off for not following the specifications of the challenge. If they let people get away with fudging the rules, they're going to keep doing it. That said, I'm SO looking forward to next week if what I think's going to happen actually does. I was thrilled that Heidi actually got up and checked it out. She did not look happy.

As soon as the pug showed up all I could think was, "Julia's going to LOVE THIS."

So, this was my first Project Runway experience, but I didn't hate it by any means. And I don't know any names, so I'm just going to be brief. The girl-that-was-kicked-off's dress was really nice in its simplicity. I really wish that her hem would have been better, because hers was honestly one of my favorites. Plus, the dog hoodie was absolutely adorable. The girl that won seems like a really good designer that I would not hate working with at all. She was cute. I really wasn't impressed with the poodle wearing white. It didn't do anything for me. The rather (and I just don't know how to describe her without using some form of the words 'snob' or 'uptight' so I'll just use...) snootily dressed woman did a good job, though something about her just makes me want to see her in her natural habitat and see if her personality is really the same at home as it is on screen. And the chick with the purple mini has a lot of talent in the actual sewing of the outfit, but her choice of style? Sort of scary.

Umm..that's about what I've got by way of comment. Hope your Friday is filled with Stargate, as mine shall be filled with family dinner and no Stargate.

We need to be social sometime soon. Loves!

If you hated Project Runway I'd probably have to hurt you. Well, okay, so you could dislike the show, but if you hate Tim, I don't want to hear it. ;) Overall, I'd say good introduction episode to the show. Lots of insanity, lots of talent, lots of missing talent, Tim being smart as always.

I really really liked dress Katherine (the girl that got kicked off) made. I didn't notice the hem was funky until they pointed it out. I didn't really seriously consider her a possibility for elimination until they pointed that out. You show poor execution on the runway and you might as well just kick yourself off the show.

The poodle's outfit should have been done in black or something. That would have gone with the outfit and stood out from the dog.

Laura, the red-headed snooty one, is kind of up in the air for me right now personality wise. I've really liked her work so far though. Angela, of the scary muse, is...interesting.

Next week is going to be AWESOME. I'm more excited for it than anything else at the moment.

OMG, NEESH. STARGATE WINS. The 'Gates rocked my socks tonight. Like woah. I...have no words to really convey this. Just picture me as excited as you've ever seen me get about things with the flailing and the squeeing and everything.

We need to do something soon. I'm getting a little restless here at home not doing much of anything. It's just me, the dog, and my Sims.
