Not Dead From Heat Exhaustion!
Jul. 3rd, 2006 04:18 pmSeattle is lovely. The weather has been beautiful.
Saturday Mom and I picked up Natasha to go kitchen/bathroom supply shopping for the apartment next fall. I feel like a dork for getting excited about cutting boards and shower caddies, but whatever. I'm used to feeling like a dork.
We also saw Superman Returns. If you've ever talked to me, you probably know how I felt about this movie. I liked it. I plan on seeing it once more in the theater with Mom and Dad because they will understand the love I have for this look at Superman mythology and heroes in general.
It also made me hate Smallville just a little bit more. Man, they've screwed it up pretty well, haven't they?
Despite watching Sci-Fi's marathon of The Twilight Zone I have yet to see their preview for SGA with McKay. I've seen the Sheppard one tons, but since I don't have great internet here, I can't exactly watch the new one on the computer. But, hey, I love the commercials they do show and every time I see one I get more excited that both shows will be back in a week and an half. Woo.
Anyway. Will be going home either the fifth or the sixth. Probably the sixth.

Date: 2006-07-04 03:00 am (UTC)The McKay one is ok...in my opinion it's a little more jerk-y than McKay, but I only saw it once a couple days ago so my memory might be a little off. I still haven't seen it on TV yet.
Glad you had fun houseshopping!
hey mary!!

Date: 2006-07-06 11:23 pm (UTC)Summer is good. Relaxing. I haven't really gotten anything accomplished, which is always fine by me this time of the year. What about you? What are you up to?
I almost bought Orlando during finals week, but then I decided I'd wait until you were done with it to hear what you thought.
