I love my family. A lot. Went to my aunt's over the weekend to remove myself from the temptation of the internet so I could work on my various finals. Friday night Kay fell asleep watching TV and Tris (who is ten) and I were left sitting on the couch watching SG-1. At some point, Tris started going on about how he didn't like math and as soon as he could, like this summer, he was going to forget it all. I suggested that that would be a bad idea, but he insisted, saying, "It's against my religion."

"Oh, yeah? What religion?"

Hardly missing a beat, Tris said, "Tristianity."

It kind of killed me. Tris amuses me so much. He can be so bizarrely clever sometimes. The rest of the time he's just really weird. Not in a bad way, just in a "I really have no idea what you're doing or why you're doing it" kind of way. But we always get along.

Ugh

This Yeats paper is less than stellar.

It's supposed to be 2000 words long. I'm at 1875. I cannot for the life of me come up with another 125 words. Spoke too soon. Calling it quits at 1930.

Close enough. Seriously. I'm about ready to start tearing my hair. I just want to be DONE with everything.

Final Irish Lit class at 11:55. And then nothing but writing, writing, writing about Chaucer for the rest of the day.

Right now I have Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" stuck in my head and it's all [livejournal.com profile] michelerz's fault.
