Can't I Just Be Finished?

I started this morning with two solid pages for Ethnic American Lit (going on to the third page), and now only have one and an half solid pages. Was completely dissatisfied with the sucktastic-ness of the paper and scrapped it.

Okay, so it did suck suck. It just...wasn't that great. I'm having a lot of trouble writing it, which is ridiculous considering I had the exploratory narrative done for it last week. I think this is just me not wanting to do anything.

I want to finish it today and study for Asian Religions. Then tonight I think I'll watch Lone Star again, taking notes this time. Tuesday I'll work on/write the paper for film class and get Asian Religions out of the way. I'd like to be done with everything by Thursday so I can have that day to relax, see people before I leave, and pack. Hopefully this will work out.

Friday night I'm totally curling up with some sci-fi and alcohol and totally not doing anything school related for at least a month.

Something's Going to Get Wet

You can tell it's finals because I'm avoiding work by posting more than I should. Also, I sometimes stumble upon things to say. So, randomly, here's some things.

Saturday I went with Kay, Greg, and Tris to see X-Men 3. I, strangely enough, enjoyed it more the second time. I wasn't bored, and the things that bugged me the first time didn't bug me this time. Best part was Tris covering his face with his arm and murmuring, "Rated NC-17 for frightening images." Also the little incidence about using the bathroom before the end of the credits. "If I don't go now, something is going to get wet."

He's really very funny when he's not being annoying.

I should never have bought food at the Cave. Too many sweets in the room. Also, I have to finish my ice cream before we have to defrost the freezer. Meh. Ice cream is less fun when you have to rush it.

The Seattle Times has called twice today trying to get us to buy their paper. Twice in, like, five hours.

( Regarding the recent SGA hate that's cropping up enough that even I've noticed it )

I think that's the first use of "balls" in that context on my journel.

So, yeah. Back to the essay.
