Spent most of the morning playing The Sims 2. When I re-uploaded it a week or two ago I made an Atlantis neighborhood. Right now it's populated by John, Rodney, Radek, Elizabeth, and Teyla. John and Rodney recently were joined and had a baby. (Seriously. John was pregnant and everything. Maternity leave was involved. Rodney was the cutest expectant parent ever.) Radek and Elizabeth are living together and maybe have mini-crushes, but I'm thinking things may not work out between them. Teyla is the single, cool, hot chick of the neighborhood. I really need to make more people, but I shouldn't be playing games at all so whatever. It's a good way to waste a couple hours.

When we went and saw Serenity on Saturday night, there was a preview beforehand with Paul Walker and the music used was Muse's "Time Is Running Out." Hadn't listened to them for awhile and now that's like all I'm listening to. I think I'm gonna have to look for another one of their CDs.

So, Natasha got me the "official visual companion" to Serenity for my birthday and I'm sitting here flipping through it (it's very shiny) and one thing really comes to my attention. I've thought it before, but it hasn't really hit me.

Just how utterly fantastic is Summer Glau as River? I mean...she just *makes* that character. She gets the craziest, least connected things to say and they just are beautiful when she says them. For example, there's the bit with her and Simon in the storage locker and there's so much emotion from her. And reading the script they're just words and they don't really make sense.

And, yeah. Go acting. I *miss* acting. ::pout::

Seriously, I will stop posting the same things about Serenity over and over. I'll stop. Really. Maybe I'll come up with new things to say after looking at my book more thoroughly.
