There are no absolutes
May. 13th, 2003 06:48 pmMy play was a success. (Yea!) I was very pleased with the performance Friday night. The audience was pleasantly surprised. They laughed! They laughed at the funny bits! They thought my writing was funny! (Yea!) And I got interviewed afterword. Heh. We'll see how that turns out.
And I'm feeling lazy right now so I'm just gonna post this with my big old spoiler-laden ramble about Angel, the best show ever.
( Our fate has to be our own, or we're nothing )
Hmmm. And now looking back at all that I've just written, and the quote I used for the cut makes me think more about what Jasmine's purpose was and how Angel may have acted hypocritically. Oh, but maybe not. Angel's whole thing with Jasmine was about choices and that we are allowed to make them, even if they're the wrong ones. So, Connor has had no choices in his life and Angel makes the choice to give him choices. He goes against what he has said to bring the meaning of it to light.
Or something like that.
Leaving now.
