Being home is nice.
Yesterday the parents, brother, and I went and saw V for Vendetta. I really liked it, and that's with a sinus infection/cold. Of course, it could have been real crap and I would have been pleased just by seeing Stephen Fry, Stephen Rea, Rupert Graves, and Ben Miles all on the same screen. (Ben Miles was a surprise. Hee, Patrick.) I think it's interesting that Alan Moore has disowned the film. I haven't read the book (yet), so I can't compare it at all, but it was a decent film and at the very least it's going to get people interested.
I think I also read somewhere that Moore disowned it before actually seeing it. I wonder if that's true?
Saw a preview (again) for the new Pirates of the Caribbean. It's sad that I still play "Where's Jack Davenport?" Although I'm fairly certain I've spotted him.
Watched "Grace Under Pressure" with Mom today because she'd never seen it. It's still brilliant. Oh, Rodney.
Oh, also got to catch Doctor Who on the Sci-Fi Channel. Am interested enough to watch more, but will have to get someone to tape it for me.
Still kind of sick. Not fun.
