First off, West Side Story as a horror movie.
There should be a zombie musical.
I'm also reminded of the new lyrics for WSS that Neesha and I came up with about STDs. Fun times in Choir.
Anyway. I finished season one of Battlestar Galactica last night. Still have some questions about certain things, specifically the Cylons. But I *loved* it. It's really a much better show than, say, SG-1 or SGA. That said, Atlantis, in all of its dorkiness, still owns my soul.
I found that some of my favorite scenes were with Adama, which kind of weirded me out. It wasn't something I was expecting. But I loved the scenes with him and Starbuck, or him and Apollo, or him, Apollo, and Roslin. Basically, though, I ended up liking most of the people a lot more than I ever thought I would.
Gah! Tyrol was a Jaffa in "Redemption Pt. 2." One of my favorite eps. They even made him wear one of those ridiculous metal skullcap-things in another one. I have a funny feeling they may have killed him after that, but I could be wrong. I also thought Gaeta looked vaguely familiar. He also had kind of scary hair at one point.
Holy crap, everyone's been on SG-1. Chuckles, Zak Adama (who actually got to be the same character several times and not just random people), Priest Elosha, Wallace Gray (who also got to be the same guy).
And, hey, Dean Stockwell's gonna be on. Neat.
Yeah, I am a dork. But I have fun, so whatever.
I love me some sci-fi.

Date: 2006-02-09 08:46 pm (UTC)Who?? As much as I love Star Trek, I'm less up on it than other things. Alas. We'll know I've truly fallen to my geeky ways when I start buying it on DVD (which may happen rather soon actually).

And you *better* bring me BSG 2.0 today. If you don't, I'm going to show up at your door and forcing you to put up with me - Oh, wait. I'm gonna do that anyway. :)
