So I *should* be finishing up my English essay and/or working on Philosophy. Instead, I am doing nothing constructive and waiting for EB to call. I'm going out to dinner with Aunt, Uncle, and EB tonight. Spur of the moment kind of thing in a way. But also not. It's not like the birthday snuck up on us or something.
Also, it sucks a lot that after high school we don't get our b-day off. Sad pandas.
Sara came by earlier today with cupcakes though. Decorate your own! They're yummy orange creamsicle. And then Natasha and I hyped up Firefly so much for her that she took Natasha's copy with her. I'll cry if she hates it or is bored by it. I told her that if she doesn't like it by the end of "Bushwhacked" than she can decide whether or not to continue with it. But I don't think the pilot and "The Train Job" are necessarily the best eps. Actually, I *know* "the Train Job" isn't the best episode. Anyway. Here's hoping she likes it.
For the first time in, like, ten forevers I am wearing slacks. I've owned them for a couple of years, just never worn them. The tags were even still on. The most amazing thing about the slacks? They're long enough! I actually went out, tried on, and found slacks that don't make me look like I'm sartorially challenged. Ha! Take that, freakish height!
Saw Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Wererabbit over the weekend. Cute! Funny! So much fun to see Wallace and Gromit in something new *and* on the big screen. Also saw Serenity with my family. I think it was actually harder for me to watch the second time. First time Wash showed up, I got all teary like the silly emotional thing I am. Also noticed that when they're on Miranda, Jayne gives this speech about pointless deaths and the camera pans around and it ends with Wash alone (maybe Jayne's profile was there?) in the frame. Geez. Still a shiny movie. Still made my English major heart flutter with "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner." If you haven't seen it, what are you waiting for?
There is no 'N' on my keyboard. It's wearing away.
