Mar. 21st, 2005 05:20 pmIt may be lame, but my spring break is just right for me.
I got to see Neesha twice before she had to leave! Yea. We watched SG-1 and SV and were fangirly, talked about life and friends and writing, pondered why no one I know thinks Sheppard's attractive, ate enchiladas, and decided what we would *not* name our respective children.
Obviously we were v. v. deep.

Friday I got to watch both SGs while Neesh was around. *Loved* SG-1 and geeky Sam and Daniel. Loved Mr. Fantastic! Alternate!Rodney's such a sleaze, palming Sam's behind like that. And ignoring Daniel. Heh. Plus, geek!Daniel's first appereance was hilarious. Teaching English as a second language...
DANIEL: "So, introduce yourself and say something about the weather."
CARLOS: ::stands up:: "Hello, my name is Carlos. You make me so hot."
ME WATCHING: ::dead::
SGA was good, if a bit upsetting. Loved Bob the Wraith. And the little goodbye between McKay and Zelenka (Rodeny and Radek!). Massive love for both of them. (I <3 Geeks.) McKay went from not being able to remember the Czech's name at all, to a first name basis. Although Rodney's been pretty fast to start calling people by their first names, especially if they're not military.
Anyhoo. McKay screaming like a girl when Grodin turned the gravity on inside the satellite was hilarious. Also, poor Grodin. :( And Shep going all no-blinking-fire-all-I've-got on Bob was very intense. You don't always get that Sheppard's that intense because he's a bit goofy and geeky and he has that hair, but then something like that bit with Bob happens. I'm reminded of when he activated the stargate's shield in "The Eye" (maybe it was "The Storm") and let a bunch of the Genii go splat on the other side. The man's got a scary side beneath all of that hair gel. Can't wait til next week. And then a few months for the DVDs and a new season. Yea!
Yesterday Mom and I went to Wenatchee and I bought the extension for The Sims 2. I didn't even know there *was* an extension until I spotted it in Target. Needless to say, I've been playing that almost non-stop today. Fun times.
Tomorrow Dad and I go to Spokane to pick up Grandma and then Wednesday (You were right, Neesh!) I get my haircut. Woo.
