Week Thus Far
Feb. 9th, 2005 07:49 pmThis is not the best week ever. Don't listen to those yahoos at VH1, they have no idea what they're talking about.
The weekend was pretty good. Kay and I watched Garden State, which I still love, and a whole bunch of Lost, courtesy of Kasey. Sunday night we all went to a new Thai restaurant for dinner and all was good. Until I got back to the dorm and tried to finish watching Lost and the frelling VCR decided to eat the tape. (Still sorry 'bout that, Kasey.) Watched Jonathan Creek instead. I think I've watched all of the eps with Maddy now, except for Christmas episode. That makes me sad. :( Don't know how I feel about actually moving on to the new chick, even if she is played by Julia Sawalha (or however you spell her name).
Monday I think was pretty good. Can't actually remember it, so that must mean something. ::shrug::
Tuesday. Oh Tuesday. Basically, the day can be summed up in this conversation:
Gets back from Brit Lit.
Natasha: How was Jeff?
Mary: Jeff can FUCK OFF AND DIE. GAR.
Natasha: ::laughs hysterically for some reason::
We've decided that from now on when we tell people that we suck, we're going to say "You suck like Jeff." Except we can't decide if Jeff sucks in a good way, a bad way, or both ways. Possibly it depends on the situation.
Anyway. I was cranky yesterday. No real reason. Just in general. Also, I feel like all my classes, except for Spanish, are a waste of time. Which translates into - English sucks (like Jeff) at the moment. Slow and boring. Interesting for moments, but never the entire class period. Blah.
But now it's Wednesday and I'm not at work (to finish my presentation, done now) and there is a new episode of Smallville on *right now*. Thus far? Lois rocks. And, it's official, alcohol doesn't affect Clark. Hopefully Lex will get more than three minutes.
So, anyway, things are looking a little bit better now. Yea.

Date: 2005-02-10 12:38 am (UTC)SV went okay. Slightly more Lex (he was even allowed out of the house!). Yes! Don't they understand that it's the bald guy (and TW...and Allison Mack) that we're tuning in for? I still think they're afraid of the "homoerotic undertones" that happen when MR and TW are allowed in a scene together. The producers/writers are thinking, "How can we get rid of this homoerotic notion? We know! No more scenes between Lex and Clark. Through many of slutty girls at Clark! No one will ever notice when he cringes." Maybe they threatened the actors...."No more scenes together until you tone it down a bit..."
Sheesh. Sorry about the ramble. ::blush:: But you brought up the bald man and I couldn't resist! (Seriously, if we ever see each other again (drama!) and we watch it (I'm forcing you.), I think you'll be amazed at the amount of grinning and squee-age and general lusting that occurs. Although, probably not amazed because you, y'know, know me. ;) )
