I Can See!
Dec. 1st, 2008 08:53 pmI got my new glasses! The frames are Lulu Guinness and they're kind of really cute and I love them!
Mom just called them "Garcia glasses." Hee!
I've basically been wearing contacts for the last, oh, nine years and my glasses at night, in the morning, and random days. But the prescription in those frames was six and a half years old and trying to see things was getting pretty pathetic. So...new frames, new prescription! It's fun to change things up a bit. Even if my eyes are kind of going, "What the hell are you trying to do us?" right now.
The contact prescription didn't change that much, so I'm trying out something slightly stronger for a while and then in January I'll decide what to do.
Meanwhile, two non-spoilery things about Chuck and Heroes under ( the cut )
Dorky fandom related revelation: Sometimes when I see a preview for something with Keanu Reeves (like The Day the Earth Stood Still just now), I pretend it's Joe Flanigan/John Sheppard instead. This either makes things better or more hilarious. And sometimes leads to Sandra Bullock turning into David Hewlett/Rodney McKay.
