Success! Thanks to my (eventually) nimble fingers, I got my way through the really hard part of Myst IV. Well, sort of hard part. They should never ever have puzzles where you have to beat a timer. Ever. It makes me jumpy and then I suck. I heart the game, though. The graphics are amazing. The plot is good and intriguing. Boy, though, is this family messed up. The sons at any rate. And thinking back to Riven, the grandfather was flippin' nutso, too.

Anyway. I rock. The game rocks. It's all good. Until I continue and run into another puzzle that has to be completed in a set amount of time with me frantically clicking the mouse to move the cursor in *just* the right spot. But I'm going to embrace the goodness and cross that bridge when I come to it.

Seeing Flight of the Phoenix with Neesha on Thursday. Possibly seeing Ocean's 12 on Friday. If not, I've really got to drag some downtown with me at school. Although, if that were to happen, I'd much rather see Closer. I think. Choices. Hmmm.

Mom bought Garden State today. Still gorgeous. There's a quote from a review that I read when the movie first came out that pretty much sums up the feeling I get at the end: "It's like a perfect pop song - that thing that makes you smile and tear up at the same time." And every time I see it, there's this moment during the end that just hits me and I don't know whether to smile or cry. So I do both. Well, it's more tear-up than cry, but you know what I mean. And it's not really just a moment, it's more like this final collection of everything you've felt while watching. It's hard to explain, but I think you know it when you see it.

And now, looking at the DVD chapter titles, I see the scene is entitled "Something Really Big" and that just about feels right. And the *music* there. Great.

Just see the flippin' movie.
