Ah, life is good right now, at this moment. Hot spiced cider, chocolate-mint M&Ms, popcorn, and slash make it so. Mmmm.

It's a good feeling.

Although I *should* be reading Nietzsche or Willa Cather or doing something mildly more productive. But eh. Don't feel like it. Maybe I'll get ready for bed and read...

I need to get back to writing. All of the reading I've been doing lately is really making me miss writing. But nothing is really interesting me at the moment. I need something shiny and new. After this past Halloween I've been saying that I want to write a horror movie that's actually scary and not completely lame, as many are. You see the same things over and over again in scary movies, even the new movies with the twists in them. I don't know. I'd like to try something that sort of embraces the genre but does it sort of tongue-in-cheek. Without running into parody.

Frell. I don't know. I just want to write something. Where have all my interesting creative ideas gone? And why can't any of them be short and easy?

Saw The Incredibles on Friday night with Greg and Tris. Awesome movie. Great gadgets, great superheroes, great villain (and cape). Great short beforehand. Loved the fact that it took place in Metroville. The name may simply have been a coincidence, a funny accident, but I'm going to pretend that they meant it.

Anyhoo. I recommend the movie.

Incredibles was AWESOME. Did you only have one short, or did you get to see the naked hillbilly sheep?? Not sure I want to know about how we got the Jackalope.

Do a quick fic about Norry...Or something Bridget. Take a weekend gap in the show and fill it in or something. Make yourself write 300 words on toenail clippings or something crazy and it'll spark something that you'll want to write down and remember or tell your kids someday. Write a quick review of one of the movies you've seen. Something. Even if you think it's crap, call it a shitty first draft and be done with it.

I don't know how many shorts there were supposed to be, but I saw Boundin' before the showing I went to. With the Jackalope, which I'd actually heard of before...What was the other one?

Norrington has kind of...moved to the background at the moment. Other things (people) are currently running amuck in my head. I'd try fanfiction, but darn it if that's not the scariest thing for me to think about writing. Um. Obviously I'm ignoring the fact that I've already written some. Um. Yeah. ;)

I missed most of the first short because we were late and Spokane starts movies on time *gaspshockhorror* We were told that Boundin' was better anyway. And the Jackalope concept is right up there with the flying pink fire-breathing donkeys to me.

Write something random about meatloaf or spitwads stuck to the ceiling in Pratz's class. oH, you could write a quick fic about Evil Dark Lords and such...or something about small town gals going to big cities for school. Something'll pop up eventually. I've got faith. :)
