I haven't gone on and on about Harry Potter in forever. What's up with that?
I think it's because I'm having some issues with JKR and how I feel about the books and where she's been and where she's going with them. And then there's the whole, um, issue of Sirius that I didn't react to in the way I thought I would. Which troubles me a bit.
And because I was listening to The Cure's "Trust" last night while looking for HP icons, the song is now almost permanently stuck in my head as an HP-Trio related song. Or at least the melody makes me feel kind of nostalgic and sad, and this ties in with HP because you know it's just going to end badly. Or at least I feel that it can only really end badly. So listening to this song and looking at pictures of the trio and all of the other characters feels a lot like looking back through a photograph album and mourning and appreciating really excellent friends.
Yes, I am supremely weird.
Anyway. I'm in the mood for some really good, heavy, dark-ish, during/post-war trio fanfiction. I'm going to have to go find it now. Bah.
