Jul. 7th, 2004 10:35 pmYou really feel like the shit has hit the fan when have of the posts on your friends list contain the word, or a variation of the word "fuck" in the subject line. I'm going to take a stand and *gasp!* leave mine....BLANK.
Yeah, can you tell I've been alone for a few days?
I'm slowly progressing through Dune. Slogging away. It would go faster if I didn't feel compelled to look up all the "new" words in the glossary. But I'm one of those weirdo's that will write down unknown words, drag out the dictionary, and look them up before continuing. Did you know I got a HUGE dictionary for Christmas my freshman year of high school and was as pleased as punch? (Isn't that a weird saying? Wonder where it comes from....)
Tomorrow I'm actually going to use the car. Amazing, huh? I finally watched Under the Tuscan Sun tonight and so can return the movies tomorrow. It was really good and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Makes me proud to be part Italian. Some of the villages looked a lot like the one that my grandma's family comes from, so that was kinda cool. Anyway. I haven't decided if I'm going to go book shopping or not. I can't think of anything that I want/need off the top of my head, and I really have too many books already. Maybe I'll just go to Starbucks.
Look at me! Talking on the phone AND posting on the internet! The ability to multi-task is apparently a sign of higher brain function. Or so I'm going to say.
Also, I watched more Roswell today. I'm liking what I'm seeing.
I also sorta started writing something. I'm determined to actually work on something productive. And come out with a product that I'm happy with. *crosses fingers* Here's hoping!

Date: 2004-07-09 01:21 am (UTC)OMG! I love the Orlando one! I laughed so hard. The saying and the picture, it's all perfect. "It's not easy being skeazy" indeed. And I still <3 Norrington, STDs and all. I really think he ended up with the better deal. Rum, big ships, and Johnny Depp. Whereas Kiera got....Mr. Skeazy. Who may also have crabs, you never know. And Kiera is kinda scary looking when she's screaming.
