Inception fandom has taken off and taken off fast. It's kind of surprising and fantastic.

I am determined to finish that tie!porn! Now that the things that were really clamoring for my attention are (mostly) taken care of, I think I might be able to.

Yep! Gift exchange is here (http://community.livejournal.com/dream_exchange). Signups start on the 16th. Fic has to have a minimum of 2000 words, so it's definitely do-able, and the deadline is Nov. 1, which won't conflict with NaNo at all. :)

I'm so excited about NaNoWriMo this year. I tried a few years back, but I was still in college, and had to bow out after the first week. But this time I have something resembling an actual story, so I think I can do it.

Inception is SO open, I think it would be easier. There's no established fanon as of yet so it's easier to think outside the proverbial box (for me, anyway)

There's a big con, though: NO PLOT. So even with as open as Inception fandom is, with it being so new, that might trip me up.

I thought about trying NaNoWriMo last year or the year before. I've got a couple of ideas that would lend themselves, but no...motivation to try. Which is dumb.

That's a very good point about no established fanon. Still, though, I have no actual plot. Or even the beginning of one. That may prove problematic.
