Let me illustrate.

"I do not need to eat, Dean."

Castiel is not human, but an angel. He does not need to consume food, but Dean may be able to convince him it is a fun thing to try.

"I do not need to eat Dean."

Castiel is not human, but a zombie. He does not need to consume Dean, but later when he is feeling peckish he may eat Dean's brains.

I'm just sayin'.

Not wrong at all. Castiel is deep in denial. Someone needs to educate him so he realizes that, actually, he would like to get his mouth on Dean.

How about "my words to writers' ears"? Though I haven't run into anything the really drives me crazy lately. (Of course, that may have to do with the amount of fic I'm not reading.)

You want to know what's really scary, though? I have a friend who is going to school to become a teacher and I had to listen to her complain about her grammar class because she didn't think it was important. SHE IS GOING TO BE TEACHING YOUNG MINDS.

I know. Except the shower sex is the next in a series. And the food porn doesn't really fit into it...unless I do a big re-write and totally re-imagine it.

Or, y'know, I could just do this fic and then write the food porn/shower sex and stop complaining. :P Because, oh, writing Dean and Cas getting it on is such a hardship. ;)
