Loved it. Let's just get that right on out there.
- Jane Lynch. Oh, man. I cannot believe some of the things her character says. Like telling Will to do the same thing to glee club that she did to her mother: euthanize.
- That scene with Emma and Will and the chalk dust? Tingles. So lovely. And sad. I was glad to see Emma starting to at least try to move forward with her relationships though.
That ties in with something else. I thought they covered a lot in one episode. And yet everything tied together so well. On the one hand, you had Emma and Rachel longing for someone in a relationship. On the other, there's Will's wife (can't remember her name) and Quinn working to keep the relationship they're in.
- I really enjoyed what we got of Finn's backstory in the pilot and the little hint of home life with his mom here.
- The assembly was suitably horrifying and fantastic.
- omg, so the principal gave Will the list of approved songs and he was all, "These all have Jesus or balloon in the title."
"I can only think of '99 Luftballons,'" I tell Mom.
And then Rachel sees the list and says, "What's a luftballon?"
I mini-flailed.
- Will's wife is...probably not a complete psycho underneath it all. Just very self-absorbed.
Meanwhile, I got my mom sick. Whoops. :( She's worse off than I was.
I'm really far in Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box and loving it. I played the first game during my road trip with Dad last year. It helped keep me entertained in many hotel rooms. My one complaint is that sometimes the hints aren't hints at all. "This puzzle is a classic and has many variations." I just spent a hint coin and that's what you tell me?

I love Jane Lynch! Have you seen the movie Role Models? You will not stop laughing. She is in that and plays pretty much the same type of character.
I just ordered Diabolical Box! Glad to hear it's good. I finished the first one in a week or so because it is so fun! Sounds like some of the hints suck, but I know I didn't use too many of them before. YAY!

Yeah, the first Layton game didn't take me long. This one's taking a little longer since I'm not just riding in a car for hundreds of miles every day. And I'm savoring it. I think you will definitely enjoy it.
