I am not in a particularly good or charitable mood, but instead of focusing on that I am going to focus on things that make me happy.

Like watching Shelter yesterday, which I really enjoyed. Not all of the acting was great, but Trevor Wright and Brad Rowe were very good. And then I had to go poking around the internet for the music because I liked that, too. So yes, thoroughly enjoyable. It was something I'd been interested in seeing for a while and found it on YouTube. Though I'm thinking of adding it to my Netflix queue so I can have a little better quality.

Then there was Supernatural last night and "I Know What You Did Last Summer" which had some things I enjoyed and some things I didn't.

Enjoyed:
- Anna
- Alistair's kinda-introduction
- the entrance of Castiel and Uriel at the end

Less so:
- Ruby
- Sam/Ruby

I have complicated Ruby feelings. I didn't particularly care for her when she first showed up, but she grew on me. Now I don't know if my feelings of massive "eh" are because I've seen the last ten minutes of the season or because she's not played by Katie Cassidy anymore. I think it's probably more the latter than the former. There's just something Genevieve Cortese's Ruby that doesn't do much for me.

Which is why I'm not so excited about Sam/Ruby. And that may actually have more to do with the way the rest of the season goes down.

Seeing Sam trying to switch places with Dean? And then the boys patching themselves, and each other, back up? They are so messed up.

I let slip that Anna is a fallen angel and that she and Dean get it on next week. Which led to this conversation this morning:

MOM: So, sex with a fallen angel, huh?
ME: Yeah. And it's in the car. It's all well and good until it gets cheesy in the end.
MOM: Cheesy? What, does she get her foot caught in the steering wheel? ::no:: Does he get his foot caught in the steering wheel? ::no:: Her head gets caught in the steering wheel? ::no:: Dean gets his head caught in the steering wheel? ::no:: Some other part of his anatomy?
ME: He gets smited.
MOM: Really?
ME: No, I was just throwing that out there. Though that'd be kind of funny, getting sent back to Hell for it. Can't you see Castiel showing up, being all, "I already pulled you out of Hell once before, Dean. Try to keep it in your pants."

Okay, actually, relating that conversation has actually cheered me up. Yeah for ridiculousness. Except now I want to write something where Castiel does warn Dean to keep it in his pants.
