A Space Oddity
Apr. 16th, 2009 10:14 pmOMG CSI was hilarious! And everything I was hoping for. ::flail::
There are so many things I loved about this episode. Oh, man.
I knew Kate Vernon was going to be in tonight's episode, but Jaime Ray Newman was a surprise! And Michael Welch. It was like some sort of weird SciFi Channel reunion. Oh! And Paris from Gilmore Girls. So casting was basically awesome.
And then there were all of the nods to Star Trek (obviously) and old/new Battlestar Galactica. Plus RONALD D. MOORE.
I absolutely loved David and Doc Robbins. And BRASS! OMG BRASS. Pulling "existential dichotomy" out of the air like that. ♥ There's a reason Brass is one of my favorite characters. Also, the whole thing between Greg and Kate Vernon's character, where Greg realizes how science-fiction reflects reality.
Mandy's explanation for Mister Ed being in an alternate universe. Hee!
Now the thing that really has me flailing, HODGES AND WENDY. OMG. HODGES/WENDY! Everyone knows about it! Wendy knows everyone knows! Wendy commented on Hodges' obliviousness! And she handled that mini-confrontation with him very well. Of course, she always handles Hodges well. Which is just another sign that they are made for each other.
Speaking of, they were so cute together at the convention at the beginning. Aw!
Just...everything with Hodges and Wendy made me stupidly happy.
Way to go, CSI.
