Project Runway Finale

Leanne won! I had a feeling she would, and I'm glad of it. There was just something about her collection that really appealed to me; the colors, the shapes, the movement, all of it was lovely.
However, that isn't to say that I didn't like everyone else. As a whole, Kenley's collection was my least favorite on a personal taste level. I loved some of her designs though, especially the cream dress with the flowers painted up the middle of it.
Korto's collection was gorgeous. I loved the first teal dress. And that color of green she was using? Gorgeous. Like summer. And the bead-work was great. But her one white gown was, as Heidi pointed out, a little overworked. There was a lot going on there.
Basically, though, tonight's finale went down the way I was expecting it to. There were no huge surprises and I thought everyone put on a good show.
Randomly, one of the models they looked at (but didn't use) reminded me a lot of one of the contestants from Top Model a few years ago. She was the winner in the season they went to Africa. Too bad I can't remember her name.
Also, Daniel and Wesley had something going on! When they showed them standing rather close together after the runway show, I had my suspicions. Then the commercials during Top Design confirmed it. Hee. Unfortunately those commercials also showed Stella "giving birth" to Blayne and that was really disturbing.
