Today I got to thinking, thanks to WaT, about how much I want CSI to lock Wendy and Hodges in a closet in the lab until they crack and just make out already. Geez. And then I realized that Hodges and Wendy? Totally McKay and Sheppard.

You've got Hodges, who is clearly a very smart man but who also kind of fails at social interaction. I think he wants people to like him, he does follow Grissom around like a puppy dog sometimes, but he's also got this need for people to realize how brilliant he is and appreciate him for it.

Then there's Wendy. Outwardly she's attractive and cool, always put together. There was even a moment when her "cool" factor was a bickering issue between her and Hodges. She Clearly she's a smart woman, since she does what she does. And then she goes and pulls out her knowledge of Vulcans and uses it to smack Hodges down. Banter is had. It's great.

There's just enough similar broad traits that I can see the reflections of Sheppard and McKay in them. There's definitely a similar friendly antagonism going on of the type that was present in season one of SGA.

Now if only they'd actually go there on CSI and not screw it up.

Project Runway - 5.07

Liked: Jerell, Kenley, Korto, Leanne, Suede

Borderline: Blayne, Joe, Terri

Meh: Keith, Stella

- At first I thought Terri's design was Stella's.

- Blayne's dress I actually liked quite a bit. But the fit around the bust was not good and, like Laura pointed out, really kind of distracting. I liked the use of the mirror, though.

- This was the first time that Jerell did something that I really liked and could also remember afterward. Very interesting.

- Joe's dress...It was nice, but it did absolutely nothing for me.

- Keith's was blah and drab and completely uninteresting. Boring. Bye, Whiny McComplainsalot. Not that I dislike him really (just his hair), just...y'know...we get it, dude. You've had it a little rough. Now quit saying you're a great designer and show us.

- I really liked Kenley's. Especially the little zebra print ruffle she made. But it as she was creating the pattern, I couldn't help but think it wasn't that big of a leap after what Kelli did in the first challenge.

- Korto's coat was really neat. But I can't decide if the sleeves bug me or not.

- Leanne's was my favorite this challenge and I'm really glad she won. I especially love the look of the fringed seatbelts at the top of the dress.

- I liked the idea of Stella's skirt, but the execution fell short. It was bumpy and weird.

- Suede's was cute, in a dark kind of way. And shiny.

Someone I know said that they'd read somewhere that there was a romance going on between contestants this season that no one knew about at the time. I haven't really looked to see if this is true or not, but now I am watching the way contests interact very closely.

For some reason, I keep thinking Daniel and Keith were having a torrid behind-the-scenes love affair. I don't know. Maybe Keith's moodiness this week? Someone mentioning him being more into hugging Daniel goodbye than Daniel was last week? Hmm.
