I want to curl up in a ball and die.
I woke up with a tickle at the back of my throat. Mostly I ignored it, thinking that I'd just take a bag of Halls lozenges with me to work and there'd be no problem.
WRONG.
I'm sure it's nothing and will probably be gone in the morning, but right now my throat hurts and I keep coughing and it's not fun. Earlier I was trying to describe the end of the episode of WaT I'd just watched to Mom and my voice just kept getting higher and scratchier. Blah.
I'm hoping it's gone in the morning. Tomorrow will really suck if I feel like crap.
Meanwhile, the library today was crazy. School's out for summer, so that meant more kids. Plus, the Summer Reading Program is starting Monday so that means it'll be a bit busier. This SRP thing may totally knock my already shaky pursuit of an emergency substitute certificate out of the realm of desirable possibility. I'm not sure I can deal with 20+ kids for a whole school day.

Date: 2008-06-19 12:28 am (UTC)You're welcome! It's funny, but I was thinking about it on my way home from Seattle. I was plotting some original writing in my head and that scene with Ben at the Garcia's kept popping up. (Probably because the character I was thinking of is a Ben, too.) I really enjoyed it.

he's a fan favorite. I had a couple of classmates & co-workers read it and he was a definitely a spot on character. I think it's because he's light hearted and a big goof.

Date: 2008-06-21 06:01 am (UTC)I'm actually re-watching "Hush," the episode that does away with dialogue, right now (probably a bad idea; it's creepy) and I forgot how wonderfully written it is. Sometimes television really amazes and delights me. :)
