Dad ran over his cell phone with a nine ton tractor. I am beyond amused. He was, obviously, not wearing it at the time. Apparently he got off the tractor and when he got back on it slipped off of his belt. When he was getting back off he saw a phone in the dirt and wondered how long it had been there. He picked it up and realized it was his. He says that everything on it worked except for the screen. Now he has a new one.

Hopefully it won't be run over by any farm equipment.

No, of course not. But wait until he goes to town and happens upon an ice cream truck.

lol...Mum dropped hers and opened a door accross it and completely shattered the window once. and she dropped it and it fell into various parts. We haven't done the farm equipment thing yet, but Dad's gonna get one in November probably, so...next cutting season it'll go through the swather like all of his hats. Or we'll accidentally feed it to a cow and we'll find a ringing cow pie in a couple weeks.

Oh god, not the ice cream trucks!

*ahem* I saw a movie once where everything mechanical went evil and attacked everyone. For some reason this has reminded me of it. I don't know why. I blame my parents.

Ah, the unending possibilities of what you can run through a swather.

Ring cowpies are gross.

Indeed it was. But don't toss out those blueprints yet! If I remember right it was one of those bad 70s/80s movies that no one really remembers anyway.

But the Electronic Carving Knife from Hell has stuck with me. Or maybe it was the Blender of Satan. Hmmm.

Oh.. one of the forgotten 70's/80's movies that might come true just to throw off everyone who doesn't remember how the monster was killed... like the one about the killer baby or the giant killer ants. *mimics* "Oh my god.. I hear them.. that screeching.. where are they?! *looks all over the place* OH MY GOD! Look! They're over THERE! *throws her pointing finger in the direction of a tree less than two feet away*" (Giant ants can be seen walking all over the tree.. and are very obviously actually on a piece of glass directly in front of the camera...)

No, no.. that was the Penta-prong Fork...
